Congratulations! By standing for Jesus, realize that you’ve taken the following steps:

STEP 1: Admit your need (I have messed up).

STEP 2: Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).

STEP 3: Believe that Jesus died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

STEP 4: Through prayer, invite Jesus to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)

Dear Jesus,
I know that I have messed up and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins on the cross and defeated them when you rose from the grave.  I believe you are alive Jesus. Today, I take my sin to your cross and leave it there.  Forgive me and free me. I invite You to come into my heart and life.  Be my leader.  Help me to follow You.  Thank you that today I am your child. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
