In July 2016, we saw hundreds of thousands of people from all backgrounds come together on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for one agenda—to lift up Jesus.
Together 2016

RESET began as a prayer and dream of Nick Hall, to see this generation unite around Jesus. As he traveled the country as a youth speaker, Nick saw firsthand this generation’s need for Jesus—and he knew they needed to hear it in terms they understood. We all know when our phones are broken to hit the reset button. So Nick began talking about the reset Jesus offers and inviting people to pray a simple prayer:

Since 2013, the RESET message has been shared at hundreds of events—by PULSE but also by dozens of partners who’ve united with us in advancing the message. We’ve heard arenas echo with people calling out prayers for Jesus to reset their lives, their purity, their priorities, their addictions. Nearly 220,000 people have texted or typed in personal RESET prayers on the website. And in the end, the Reset message culminated at Together 2016 when people from all across the country came together to ask Jesus to reset our hearts and our nation.

THROUGHOUT HISTORY, GENERATIONS HAVE BEEN DEFINED BY MOMENTS WHEN THE CALL TO RESET TRANSCENDED THE DAILY ROUTINE.

American history has been marked by the First and Second Great Awakenings, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech, the Jesus People Movement, Explo 72, and Stand in the Gap. These were mass assemblies that served to catalyze followers of Jesus.

In every nation on earth, there is one city that best embodies the spirit of that place. In the United States, Washington, D.C. is the center of so much that defines America—and the National Mall is her back yard. If followers of Jesus are going to gather for change, we decided this is the place.

ON JULY 16, 2016, WE CAME TOGETHER FOR A HISTORIC GATHERING—UNDER THE BANNER OF JESUS—

where every age, race, denomination, and background came together for Him. We prayed for a generation-defining moment, and God moved.
